Corpus Linguistics (Amiah)

In this research, we analyzed the frequency of mention based on the decade. This was done by using the COCA website to analyze this data. Based off of the research, we can conclude that since 1990, there has been an increase in the frequency of “Chipotle” being mentioned. On the other hand, there has been a decrease in the frequency of “Pizza Hut” being mentioned. For me, I feel like Pizza Hut is not as popular anymore and chipotle has grown a lot. It is advertised on social media more often as well. That is what I would think to be the cause of this data, or at least part of it.
